Common Threads is a 10 week textile arts class. Students will meet online once a week to see a demonstration of that week’s project and discuss the previous week’s work. Class projects will introduce a range of textile art and craft skills and techniques including sewing, needle felting, weaving, crochet, and decorative mending.
All sewing projects are hand sewing only, sewing machines are not necessary. Please note that the class involves using sharp tools / objects.
The class is run online via Zoom by instructors Amelia Pate and Jeannie Regan for 10 consecutive Fridays, Feb 5 to April 9 2021 from 4 – 5:30pm. The class costs $215pp, financial aid is available.
This class is open to all, due to the use of sharp objects some additional home supervision may be required.
