This ten session class gives participants an introduction to the Woodshop and to computer aided design. Students will design and build windchimes and birdhouses.
Learning Outcomes:
- Safe use of power drills / drivers, nail gun, sanders, drill press
- Designing using Inkscape software
- Use of the laser cutter
- Physics of sound
- Habitat suitability for different species of birds
